Vintage 1930s-1940s Mexican Folk Art hand carved Bas Relief framed painted landscape scene. Beautiful detailed depiction of a man on a church rooftop, with church tower and crosses in background. Beautifully hand painted in muted tones. Unsigned. Vintage gold and blue foil tag on verso, reads \"LA INDIA BONITA MERCERIA CURIOSIDADES EUGENIO MARTINEZ OLVERA HEROICA MATAMOROS TAMAULIPAS MEXICO. Decorative geometric cut frame, part of the actual piece of wood. In VG+ vintage condition with minor general signs of age and wear. No losses to wood. Warm age-related patina to wood surfaces. Measures approximately 8 x 10 inches in diameter, and 3/4 inch deep. Weighs approximately 1 lb. Will weigh between 2 and 3 lbs packaged.More pics upon request.
