Note: I just lowered the price on this one because I was looking at it again because it’s so stunningly beautiful when I was changing which archival box I have it stored in and noticed very tiny upper left side corner crease, it’s contained within the white border so would not show when framed, nevertheless I discounted it. Photo of corner shown in last photo.

Selling my extremely rare original Marilyn Monroe photograph taken by, I’m not certain, but possibly Laszlo Willinger in 1946, 1947 or 1948. This shot was chosen for the cover of a 1949 issue of ‘Foto PARADE’ magazine shown in photos, magazine not included. Absolutely stunning. Size 8x10. Excellent condition. Stamped by Kim Goodwin on back. Produced from the original negative in 2005.

This photo is from, if not the best, then one of the very best Marilyn Monroe photo collectors of all time, Kim Goodwin. Kim was a man of many talents, he loved and had a deep appreciation for Marilyn, he actually worked for photographer, George Barris, and chose to be paid in photographs and negatives. He was extremely talented, among many talents, he was a photographic preservationist, there are many books that credit him for the use of his photos. He was a highly skilled Marilyn doll designer, some would argue perhaps the best because his dolls looked so life like and captured Marilyn’s beauty in a way no other designer could and they had a gracefulness to them that was unparalleled, and as mentioned above contributed to many books on her. He was also a sought after, highly regarded, expert stylist/artist to the stars.
