1953 Hand Carved US Post Office / Postal Service Collectible Eagle Statue and Ashtray.

Approximately 6\" in length by 5\" in Height by 3-4\" in width (depending on which side)

The eagle has black glass eyes and is beautifully Carved on a decorative base with an ashtray recessed into it. The Eagle is mounted by a dowel into a hole cut into the base. It can come out as well but the ashtray must have been put there permanently.

On the bottom there is a hand etched written \"US Postal 1953\" But that\'s all the info I know about its origin. I\'m unsure if the post office gave these to employees at one point or if it was just someone whom worked for them and did it themselves. Either way a really nice piece to display in your collection! That\'s some light wear, marks and scuffs but Overall its in excellent condition.
