For Sale: Rare 1954 - 1955 (First Series) GMC Truck hood ornament. If you\'re looking, you know how hard these are to find. Jet is in excellent shape with minor pitting in the chrome throughout. No cracks or repairs anywhere on the ornament. The tail cone does come out (as it was manufactured to do so), but if the winner wants to affix it permanently with epoxy/JB weld/etc. I will leave that up to them...a re-chromer may actually prefer it apart while plating. All hardware is present. Holes are solid (no stripping of the threads at all). Thank you for looking, happy to take additional photos and answer questions.
