This is an extremely rare colour Production Art Proof Page for a Mary Poppins Sunday newspaper comic strip. Originally published on November 1st, 1964 by Walt Disney Productions this full color Broadsheet Production Art Proof Page is in excellent condition, carefully stored, and has been hidden in storage for 50 years. Dimensions are 16 1/2\" by 11 4\". This piece of art history is highly desirable because it comes directly from the Disney archives and was used as a guide during production and includes the printing marks for production.
This is an extremely rare piece from a classic Disney story, from the comic strip series \"Walt Disney\'s Treasury of Classic Tales\", based on the book by L.P Travers, that most fans of Mary Poppins have never seen before.
