Col. Epsaro looks through helicopter stabilized sight This is an original press photo. Taking a look through a stabilized sight designed to help anti-tank operations is Lt. Colonel Austin F. Epsaro, a member of the Army Aviation Test Board. the sight, which isolates a high-power telescope from the shaking of a helicopter is for use with Shillelagh anti-tank guided missiles. Makers say the sight provides a high-resolution, blur-free image of the target scene-even though the helicopter may be moving. Aeronautic Division of Philco Corp. turned over this helicopter to the Army after outfitting it with the sight. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 09-03-1964. PHOTO FRONT
