Elite typeface 11 CPI. 1965 Olympia SM9 Portable Typewriter. Very good looking and very good working Condition! Platen is in very good condition. Only a few very minor blemishes on the body, otherwise excellent condition inside and out (see photos for details).
Typewriter has been meticulously cleaned, lubricated and adjusted. A new black ribbon has been installed. Typewriter rubber feet were replaced with used Hermes 3000 rubber feet. I will also include a typing mat. Paper feeding works as it should. Case is in good condition, latches and hinges work as they should. Case was from a different Olympia typewriter and was modified to allow for proper latching (see photos). Included is a copy of the SM9 operation/instruction manual. All operations have been tested and are in very good to excellent working order.
This is a super smooth, beautiful machine ready to show off and for use.
I have refurbished many typewriters over the years and take great care to bring great typewriters back to as close as newness as possible. I carefully pack each typewriter.
