removed from a violet 1966 Schwinn DeLuxe Sting-Ray Coaster Brake bike
the serial number MB27373 was stamped on the bike frame this was removed from (see photos)
serial number indicates bike was manufactured in Chicago IL in Dec. 1966 by Schwinn
often referred to as a banana seat
seat material is completely and securely tucked on the underside
vinyl is still soft and pliable
original mounting tab for your rear deflector attached to bottom of seat
original seat clamp still attached on bottom of seat
metal Schwinn tag is attached to rear of seat but isworn and unreadable
wear, marks and scattered surface rust on metal underpan
several discolored areas on vinyl
NO rips, tears or cuts noticed
