Here is a rare original May 1976 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20" banana seat muscle bike. (EM Serial Number) It is in the original and very appealing Radiant Red colored factory paint. This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!)

*The bike is in its cool factory painted "Radiant Red" Schwinn paint with original decals. The bike has a cool factory shorty/junior frame and forks, original screen chainguard, apehanger handlebars, Schwinn hand grips, chrome fenders cool Schwinn rear sissy bar, chrome chrome single speed Schwinn sprocket, Schwinn reflector pedals, and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The bike is an original single speed with operable brakes. Has a nice looking Schwinn STINGRAY banana seat with the tag on the rear! It has the original chrome Schwinn knurled S-7 front and rear wheels with a Bendix 70 hub. Both front and rear tires hold air and are slightly newer replacements. A fun bike to ride or display.

*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out , the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

*NOTED FLAWS I got this one basically just like you see it. I LOVE the fact that this one still wears its original paint! (has some chips and scratches but has survived better than many of its age! most of these were destroyed within a few years of them being new) The front fender has a light bend and is not quite sitting right. (may have been replaced?) The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. (chrome shows age, has a cool patina) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to). A great bike to ride or display. If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer.

*Sorry for the LONG description, these bikes really excite me. Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.

*SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.

*SHIPPING COSTS: Fed Ex, USPS, as well as UPS have recently raised their shipping rates due to the higher cost of fuel. Sorry for the slight increase in shipping costs.
