19th Century 1899 Plate Decor Canada Our Country Maple Leaf Forever William Lowe:

This plate measures 9.5" wide. Very rare plate by William Lowe. Made in England commemorating Canadian culture. What can be read on the plate is 'Canada Our Country' as well as 'The Maple Leaf Forever'. Lastly the French phrase 'Dieu Et Mon Droit' (the motto of the Monarch of the United Kingdom) meaning God and My Right can be read on a banner at the bottom of the United Kingdom Coat of Arms which is at the bottom of the painted graphic.
This is a rare plate made in 1899 as can be deduced from the Rd No on the back side of the plate. This plate could be desirable for a collector of English porcelain or a collector of Canadian cultural antiques.
