19th Century EXCEPTIONAL CASTING Gilt Solid Bronze Jardiniere Planter Bacchus :

GILT SOLID EXCEPTIONALLY CAST BRONZE Jardiniere.   French Bacchus/ Bacchanalian Gilt Bronze Jardiniere Ornate 19th Century heavy cast gilt bronze jardiniere, applied grapes and vines and 3 Bacchanalian heads on each of the 3 legs with trailing grape vines, each ending in cloven feet.  Classic Acanthus leaves around the top opening. Previously purchased in Paris for fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00) ($15K).  This is a solid bronze piece very heavy.   Approximately 42.5 inches high by 16 inches wide at the widest point.
