19th Century French Bronze Urn Form Inkwell Ram Handles; 1850\'s:

Stunning mid 19th Century French bronze urn form inkwell with pen rest featuring a hinged lid with finial, urn is decorated with a garland of roses and flowers with the Rams head handles on each side with embossed ribbons. Inkwell comes with a glass insert. Measures 5 ½” high x 3 ¾” x 3 ¾”, glass insert measures 1 ½” high x 1 5/8” diameter at rim. In overall Excellent antique condition free of dings or dents, there is black residue to the interior and the stand does not rest completely flat, can be adjusted with a small pad. Note that the hinged lid opens off center as shown. A fine addition to any home or collection!
