Marie Antoinette (2 November 1755 – 16 October 1793) was thelast queen of France before the French Revolution.

LouiseÉlisabeth Vigée Le Brun (1755 – 1842) Also known as Madame Lebrun, was aleading French artist whose clientele included royalty and aristocracy—mostnotably the Queen of France, Marie Antoinette.

Signedby the Artist \"M. Boulard\" to the left side.

Marked:Interlaced L\'s enclosing the letter \"S\" and FRANCE.

Thereverse of this plate is inscribed

\"Marie Antoinette par Mme. Vigée Lebrun\"

Wonderfulantique gilded hanger with a ring on the back for hanging.
