Pair of very rare poly-chrome porcelain bisque statues bearing the mark of the famousFrench manufacturer Letu et Mauger (L&M). Around 1860-1870.This factory was foundedon May 26, 1797 by a Parisian crystal maker, Robert Bray O\'Reilly. It closed its doors in 1895.Leda & Hebe:Leda (Queen of Sparta) is the daughter of King Thestius of Aetolia and the wife of King Tyndareus.
She is with the Swan of Zeus.
Hebe (meaning youth or bloom of youth), is the goddess of eternal youth, daughter of Zeus and Hera and the wife of Hercules. She feeds the Eagle of Jupiter.Condition: Used.
