Here is a pair of vintage porcelain boudoir table lamps. Each lamp features a hand-painted Victorian/Colonial Courting Couple. The lamps were made in Occupied Japan, dating them to production between 1945-1952. One lamp has green felt on the bottom, one has no felt and is stamped "Made in Occupied Japan". The lamps were tested and are both working (last photo - light bulbs are NOT included). No lamp shades. Each lamp measures approximately 11.25” high from base to top of the bulb socket. Each base is approx 4” wide. The lamps are in very good vintage condition. I see some areas with missing paint and a few small marks, but since these lamps are hand-painted, so it seems like this came from the production process (see photos 16 - 18). See also photo 5. There is a ridged area on the base of one of the lamps, but again, I believe this is from the production process - photo 15. There are some areas in the folds of the skirt on both lamps where I can't tell if there is discoloration or some paint shading - please see photos 5, 6, 14, & 15). Finally, the lightbulb socket on one of the lamps is slightly off center (photos 7 & 8) and the lightbulb socket on the other is not secured on the base (photos 21 & 22).

Please understand that you are purchasing vintage items that are not in perfect condition. These items are sold as is, and all sales are final. My items come from a smoke-free home, and are packed with care.

Please reach out if you'd like to add insurance to your package; otherwise, no potential shipping issues would be covered. USPS Priority Mail includes $50 of insurance. If your item is damaged in transit and package was insured, please take detailed photos and keep the broken item, plus all packing materials, for the insurance claim. The USPS has a new policy designed to prevent fraud, and they will no longer issue refunds without inspecting the damaged item. Refunds on our end can not be issued until the postal service inspects the item. Thanks!
