3 Antique Figurines Native American Miniatures Indigenous Ceramic, Wood, Bark :

This is a very unique lot of three very different style of native American miniatures.

One is a tiny seated indigenous man made in ceramic/ porcelain. That one is missing a little of the paint, especially across the bridge of the house.

The second one is a standing man, this item is antique and made of wood. Hand carved and hand-painted. It is difficult to describe so please see all the photos and close-ups. It appears to have a crack across it, but I believe that is part of how it was originally carved, or perhaps happened after it dried out, but it does not affect the integrity of the figurine. The expression on the face and the eyes are still quite piercing.

The third item is a handmade indigenous woman made out of bark, commonly made in Mexico by indigenous tribes.

All three of these items were part of a large lot of miniatures and nicknacks. I acquired from a lovely lady in northeast Iowa named Hazel. These were beloved items, and they were kept in a nicknack shelf out of the sun for decades.
