3 Vintage Cassius C Thompson \"Seville\" Porcelain Plates Circa 1930. There are not a lot of CCTP (Cassius C. Thompson Porcelain) Items available for collection. This is your chance to own a piece of Ohio Americana from the early 20th century! Hand Painted Forget-me-nots design is a hallmark of this era. I have found multiple manufacturers/artisans utilizing forget-me-nots in the late 1800s to early 1900s though you may never find a set , however limited, of CCTP again.

The C.C. Thompson Pottery, named after Cassius C. Thompson, operated in East Liverpool, Ohio from 1868 until 1938. It was located along the Ohio River and just to the side of the old Chester Bridge. C.C. Thompson was of considerable size.

On September 19, 1938, it was announced that C.C. Thompson would close the plant after, \"seventy years of uninterrupted operations in East Liverpool, Ohio.\" At the time there were 300 employees. The company continued operations for a short period to exhaust its supply of materials.

Even though CCT was a larger pottery and lasted until the late 1930s, there is very little of it available to collectors today.
