Four Piece Lot of Vintage Lusterware Kookaburra Birds Salt PepperShakers; made in Japan. A great addition to any “Lusterware”Collection. I believe that these Ceramic Salt / pepper Shakers arewhat is referred to as “Lusterware”; although I am unable toverify this. The shakers feature a Bird design that I think isreferred to as “Kookaburra Birds’. This listing is for a lot offour pieces of these “Lusterware” items; I do not know if thesepieces “go together” or if they are just “mismatched” pieces.Please note that this lot of four pieces is not complete and likelyhas missing pieces and/or parts; missing pieces will not be included. These items feature the Iridescent colors of blue and tan seen inLusterware items; see photos. “Made in Japan” is stamped on thebottom of one of the items; see photos. One owner; these items wererecovered from my parental home. These four-piece lot is likely fromthe 1940-50s era. The Items appears to be made of some type ofstoneware ceramic material; but I do not know for sure. Refer tophotos for approximate measurements; see photos. No cracks. This is avintage used item that shows signs of wear that are consistent withage, use and storage: Stains / marks/ blemish/ imperfections,discoloration, minor surface / edge wear/ uneven areas, paint loss,dirt; see photos.
