A VERY STUNNING COUPLE DAGUERREOTYPE PAIR IN DOUBLE CASE:

Please read the condition report before offerding.This couple jumps out at you. They look great together, and each also looks great alone. The daguerreotypist chose a minimalist look for the man, centering him for a dynamic portrait, with a bare background. For the woman, the daguerreotypist backed off a little and added a bit of the table, but the background is still bare. SIZE. Quarter plate. HOUSING. Attractive double case. New spine by Derek French. CONDITION. The old glass was replaced with hand-cut, high-quality, Conservation Clear glass by Derek French. Resealed. The man has a halo of tarnish, but is in very good condition otherwise. The woman has a cluster of scratches from just below the elbow at right to the lower right corner.
