E. O.Richter& Co., made drawing instruments in Chemnitz, Germany, 1930th. In originalbox 16 x 8cm Antique E.O. Richter & Company Schola drafting tools wood box(clad in leather & cloth) 7-pieceset. Gold colour lettering in middle ‘Schola F R O M E.0. Richter & Co’ incentre and three initials top left hand corner of ‘IV.S’. Box has some age anduse marks. In the lowerleft corner there was an inscription with the name of the store owner andaddress. But due to Nazi policies, finding such a box on a colleague’s deskcould easily report him to the Gestapo. Therefore, people, fearing for theirlives, carefully erased such inscriptions.
