PLEASE make sure to read the following regarding your choices pertaining to shipping costs fororders of *1-3 postcards* sent within the United States only.For 1-3 postcards I am able to offer a lower shipping cost of $1.30 using the Standard Envelope. PLEASE NOTE: The U.S. Postal Service DOES NOT scan the label on this type of mailer, and therefore, there is no way for the buyer (or seller) to know the delivery status of the order. The USPS gives no priority to the Standard Envelope, and therefore, orders at the $1.30 shipping rate frequently are received by the buyer days (and sometimes weeks) after the \"estimated delivery date\". If you want to have tracking on your order, the cost is $2.60. After I send you the invoice and you want to have tracking, please let me know and I will send you a revised invoice. This applies only on mailings of 1-3 postcards. Buyers, of course, do appreciate having a mailer with a lower shipping cost, but they also must weigh that against having peace of mind with tracking on the envelope.
Photos / Condition: The postcard which is shown on the photo(s) is the postcard which you will receive. When purchasing a larger lot/group of postcards, each postcard which you are offerding on is shown in the photos so you can zoom in and take a close look at each and every postcard. As I offer mainly postcards which are 75-100+ years old, it is reasonable to expect that most postcards of that age and era will not be in mint condition.
offerding / Watching: I encourage buyers to review my listings for a 7-10 day period at a time. I allow my buyers 10 days in which to make payment and, in view of the USPS continually increasing the cost of shipping, buyers would realize greater savings by taking advantage of the Combined Shipping Discount.
Combined Shipping Discount: I do offer the combined shipping discount on multiple purchases. Up to 10 postcards can be mailed together for a cost of $2.60 to the buyer -- 11 to 17 postcards can be mailed together for $3.50 -- 18 to 41 postcards can be mailed for $3.95. I allow my buyers up to 10 days to make payment which allows the buyers more time to group together their purchases and save more money through the combined shipping discount. Your purchases should be paid for on the 10th day following your initial purchase in the group - or - when the total postcards purchased reaches 60. Each invoice on multiple purchases will reflect the combined shipping discount. In order to receive the combined shipping discount all purchases must be paid for on the same date so they can be shipped in the same mailer.
Shipping (U.S. only): We are happy to offer a lower shipping cost for purchases of 1 to 3 (inclusive) postcards in one mailing to the buyer of $1.30 (or $2.60 for tracking). 4 to 10 postcards have a shipping cost of $2.60 - 11 to 17 postcards have a shipping cost to the buyer of $3.50 - 18 to 41 postcards have a shipping cost of $3.95. Your postcards will be mailed in a safe manner. Postcards will be in protective sleeves and inserted in a plastic rigid top loader and enclosed either in a cardboard mailer or poly bag.
The invoice for 1 to 3 postcards will state $1.30 shipping cost until the 4th postcard is purchased. Payment should not be made for purchases until I have sent the invoice for the total number of postcards purchased. When purchasing up to 3 postcards in order to receive the $1.30 shipping fee, ALL POSTCARDS (1, 2 or 3) MUST (!!) BE paid for in ONE SINGLE PAYMENT.
International Shipping: (Effective 1/31/2024) - The shipping cost outside the U.S. is as follows:
1-3 postcards - shipping cost $3.00. When purchasing more than 3 postcards at a time, 4+ postcards have a shipping cost of $0.40 (40 cents) \"each\" over and above the initial $3.00 charge for the first three postcards. For example, when purchasing 12 postcards at the same time, the shipping cost would be $3.00 for the initial 3 postcards plus $3.60 (for the additional 9 postcards) for a TOTAL shipping cost on 12 cards of $6.60.
Having the highest rating as a seller, I am held to a higher standard. One of \'s requirements for sellers of this higher rating is that we cannot \"hold\" postcards. Once I receive notification of your payment I MUST mail your postcards in the next mail pick-up.
\'s Estimated Delivery Date: gives buyers an estimated delivery date for receipt of their items. In some cases the date given is not sufficient taking into consideration the USPS is continually opening new regional centers, weather issues, etc. If you have not received your item within several days after \'s estimated delivery date, please let me know. At that time I will ask you if you prefer to wait a little longer for delivery of your package or, if you want a full refund at that time.
