Here\'s a very heavy antique cast iron decorative hot plate covered with a thick fired on porcelain enamel....9\"round with serpentine rim....footed base ring....cut out vented decoration...Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage, except a couple glaze nicks on bottom of foot ring. It is heavy and weighs 2 lbs 5 oz. I believe it is very old...we bought it an estate sale with lots of 1800s antiques.....
