40” x approx 14” tall from the floorFrom my personal collection is this estimated 1800’s to early 1900’s baby cradle. It was purchased at a much higher price & in better condition bottom wise but I had drilled holes and turned it into a planter to grow my cotton in. I did clean the inside thoroughly. Overall the cradle is in good shape considering for age and the way I used it. The finger grooves are tight. There is some loss of wood at the bottom as shown in pictures. The feet are a little loose but still tacked on good. Got a nice color tone and primitive appearance. Could be great with an old ticking bedding lined at the bottom and an old baby quilt draped on the side. Or add a collection of teddies. Endless ideas. Comes from a smoke free home.
