This elegant antique cup is trimmed in gold floral garland. The greeneagle Carl Tielsch Altwasser mark found on this cup was used from 1875 - 1900. Carl Tielsch founded the Altwasser factory in 1845. It swiftly becamesecond largest porcelain factory in Silesia. After twenty years the factory employed1,400 employees. Products of the Tielsch factory quickly became known for itshigh quality and artistic values. Their quality was compared to porcelainmanufactures from Berlin or even Meissen.
