This massive 22-1/2\" long Bowie Knife is a exact copy of the original Alabama Confederate Bowie carried by Confederate Troops during the Civil War. The 17\" long blade is 1/4\" thick and mounted with an iron guard and ferrule and hardwood handle. The iron guard, ferrule and hardwood handle are well made and are tight with no looseness. This is a high quality made replica. A heavy dark brown leather scabbard is included.There are no markings in the blade. These are used during reenactments so detail is critical.
