This sale is for Amazing Mystery Funnies issue #2 from 1938! This issue also features the first Sky Rocket Steele Story and Bill Everett’s first full story artwork! That makes this a key book! He would later become really well known for his work on Namor for Timely Comics (later to be known as Marvel Comics). This issue also contains work by the famous Will Eisner! Before Superhero comic books were the norm comic books were just reprints of newspaper strips which is what some of this is. This is a hard to find book! The scarcity rating for this issue is 7 by Gerber meaning there are believed to be between only 21 to 50 known copies in existence however CGC has only graded 8 copies! This makes me think this is a whole lot scarcer than that! Here is your chance to own a truly rare item. And if you have or can ever find a cover and marry these together you’ll do extremely well! This book is 86 years old now! Overstreet lists at $411 in good, not sure what this is based on because I can’t find any documented sales. Shipping is $18 for priority mail.
