Antique 1800s Civil War Era Sheffield Dirk Knife Manhattan Cutlery Bowie Knife:

Absolutely, beautiful, antique dark knife made by Manhattan cutlery company of Sheffield England. This knife was likely made in the Civil War period.
The knife is in very good condition. The handles are stag and are free from any chips or cracks. The blade is dual edged and in good condition showing no signs of sharpening and a very light patina, the original finish can be seen underneath.
The knife comes with its original sheath with the frog stud still intact, which is very uncommon as they always fall off. The blade tip sticks out about 1/8” of an inch from the sheath.

This is a very nice Sheffield dirk in great condition!! a fantastic addition to a Civil War collection.
