This is an antique large medal/badge for the Golden Jubilee of Cincinnati. It is their commemorative badge for their celebration on June 24 through the 30th, 1899. The maker is Gustave Fox Co. and it is on the top and bottom pieces. It is in excellent condition - including the ribbon! The wording on the badge: \"Wer nicht liebt wein. weib. uno cesanc. bleibt ein narr sein leben lenc.\" The medal has a perfect working clasp. It measures 4-1/4\" from top to bottom and it is weighty.
