This absolutely beautiful antique circa1850 oval picture frame has interior measurements of 6-1/2\" by 8-1/2\" with the overall frame measuring 10-1/2\" by 12-1/2\". The frame has its original photograph portrait of a man and although I don\'t know who he is, he must have been someone of importance judging by his manner of dress and the high style carved chair he\'s sitting on. The frame itself is in incredible condition for its age retaining all of the original gilding with basically no wear. All in all a beautiful and remarkable time capsule.
