Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working Large 19th Century Mahogany Cased French Victorian Carriage Clock with Colorful Dial, Made in France, Circa 1880. This has a Beautiful Footed Mahogany Wood Case with Brass Top Carrying Handle, Very Unique!!! The Dial is A Beautiful and Unusual Polychrome Enameled Colorful Porcelain Dial with Arabic Numerals and Decorative Birds with Fleur De Lis Hands, Absolutely Stunning!!! The Movement is a High End Round French Brass Mechanical 'Time Only' Movement with Lever Escapement, In Good Working Order! It is a 'Key Wind and Key Set' Movement, and Includes a Brass Double Sided Winding Key. The Clock is a Larger Size Carriage Clock, and Measures approx. 9 1/2" Tall (To The Top Of The Handle) x 5 1/2" Wide x 3 3/4" Deep. This is in Working Condition and Winds and Sets Correctly, But Has not Been Serviced or Tested Long Term or For Accuracy, Sold As Found! This is in Good Cosmetic Condition, As Pictured!
