Bristol glass is a type of glassware that was produced in Bristol, England in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is known for its high quality, intricate designs, and vibrant colours. Bristol glass is typically made from a type of glass called 'lead glass, which is composed mainly of silica, lime, lead oxide, and other ingredients. The glass was produced by several different manufacturers in Bristol, and the glassware was often exported to other countries, particularly to the American

stunning single antique Bristol Green wine or sherry glass.

It has a rich deep green / blue bowl which looks beautiful when hitting the Light and a clear glass stem and foot.

It has a wide round footed base leading down from the delicate fluted stem.

A very fine example of late Victorian glassware, this would look pride of place in the bar or dining area, perfect for special occasions.

There are lots of naturally occurring bubbles within the hand blown glass.
