Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique 'Turn of the Century' NEW HAVEN "Thespia" Fancy Brass and Glass Crystal Regulator Mantel Shelf Clock with Clean Open Escapement Dial, made by the New Haven Clock Company New Haven Conn. USA, Circa 1910. It has a French Victorian Style Brass and Beveled Glass Case in Good Original Condition. All The Glass Panels are Good!!! This Has a Clean Porcelain Dial with Arabic Style Numerals and Visible Open Escapement, Signed "Made By The New Haven Clock Co. New Haven Conn. USA". This Clock has a New Haven Round Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement, with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime. There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Correct Unique Glass Vial Regulator Pendulum. The Clock measures approx. 10" Tall x 6 1/4" Wide x 5" Deep. This Clock is Currently Not Working. The Suspension Spring Needs To Be Reattached. The Part is There, See Photos. It Appears to Strike and Tick Correctly.This Will Need Attention to Work Correctly.
