Offering for sale this antique 1913 Original Green Bat-Wing Oliver Standard Visible Typewriter No. 5 SN 283078. This typewriter was manufactured in 1913 by The Oliver Typewriter Company of Chicago, IL and features their unique bat-wing style. This typewriter is being sold for display or restoration. All of the keys operate, but a few are sticky on the return. The ink ribbon is broken, dried out, and unusable. The carriage belt/ string is broken as shown in pictures, so the carriage doesn't advance on keystrokes. Please see pictures for the actual condition of this unique antique Oliver Bat-Wing Typewriter.
Measures approximately 10" tall x 16" wide x 14 1/2" front-to-back.
