Rare Antique American Pewter Deep Dish Charger, 13" Dia., Thomas Danforth III, Philadelphia, PA. ​, c. 1806 to 1812. The charger is a very fine example manufactured by one of the finest American pewter families. This is a 13" Dia. deep dish charger with a single reeded rim with a shallow bowl. There are two impressed marks on the back of the plate with an eagle with "T.D." below it. There is a second straight line maker's mark that reads, "T. DANORTH - PHILADL". This is the mark of Thomas Danforth III, who worked out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia from 1806 to 1812. While in Philadelphia he worked in the same building as Blakeslee Barns. I offer this rare Antique American pewter charger with and a "Buy It Now".DIMENSIONS: The deep dish charger is 1 3/8" H. x 13 1/8" Dia.CONDITION: The condition is very good with some mino dents and scratching to the surface.
