For sale isa nice floral plate made by Augarten during the original period in the early 20th century . It is hand painted with a superb sunflower in the center (my wife's favorite flower!) with a thin gold line around the well of the plate and a thick gold trim along the edge which is nicely shaped. The plate is 0.875 inches tall and 7.75 inches in diameter. It is in perfect condition with just the tiniest of gold wear. It displays perfectly! The piece is marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, a black 62/5234/15 , the red rectangular Augarten Austria mark . and the Latin name of the flower in black - Helianthus multiflora as shown.
