Very good antique condition. Minor burnishing of metal surface in small spots. Cracked/corroded metal around one of four cherubs. Does not hold water anymore.
Origin, artist, and maker are unknown. No markings anywhere. Actual bronze content is unknown, but certainly appears (and sounds and weighs) like it\'s bronze.
Antique vase in a neoclassical style. Ornately designed. Kind of weird looking, seems Italian in design but cannot be sure. Design includes fleur-de-lis, layered scales, cherubs, and the devil. See the four identical cherub characters around the middle section of the vase, positioned to look in four directions; and see the horned devil image, with tongue sticking out, under the spout at the top of the vase. Definitely rare, unable to find anything like it listed anywhere. Metal vase is mounted to a wooden base. Base is removable, but vase will not stand without the base attached (unless the attachment screw is removed). Vase stands slightly at an angle when attached to the base, or wobbly if the base is slightly unscrewed.
