This outstanding tabernacle facade (with interior box/cabinet) from a late 1800's high altar is constructed of tulip poplar with heavily painted, distressed historic white paint and has working lock and key. Measuring 37 1/2" tall x 26" wide x 15 1/4" deep overall as pictured, it features colonnetes flanking a rounded top dorr deeply carved with grapes, leaves and wheat. The arch over the door is frames by open tracery. There are some nicks and scratches on the sides (which originally were recessed in the wall) and there is no finished cornice. It presents wonderfully as an architectural element or may be adapted as a wall cupboard. Because is shipping is a bit costly, we can make personal pick-up available.
