Marked \"N.R. STREETER\'S MAGIC FLUTER & POLISHER PAT. SEP. 19-1876\" on the top and measures 8 inches long to rear latch. Good condition with no breaks or cracks, includes hinged iron main body \"box\" with some plate loss from usage; iron handle and slug lifter with functioning latch and wooden handle; original iron slug which is rather hard to fine and rarely found with this type iron. Nice, ornate lettering on hinged top, this example would make a fine addition to any cast iron sad iron or kitchen collection.
