~ Free Shipping ~Up for sale today is this Antique Civil War Era Silk 37 Star US American Flag 46\" x 30\". This flag was found at the bottom of a dresser drawer in a 200 year old home in Southern Maine. Flag was folded up and there are several fold separations from the years (see pics). This flag would make a great display piece in a frame. The 37-Star Flag: This Flag became the Official United States Flag on July 4th 1867. A star was added for the admission of Nebraska (March 1st,1867) and was to last for ten years. The three Presidents who served under this flag were; Andrew Johnson (1865-1869), Ulysses S. Grant (1869-1877), and Rutherford B. Hayes (1877-1881). Please make note Free Shipping as well as upgraded shipping methods are for lower 48 US Destinations.
