Antique French Bronze Statue Of Sporting Dog w/ Pheasant Signed By F. Pautrot :

This is from my father's (Robert J Bass) world class collection of bronzes sculptures ceramics and coins. His previous collections were sold at sale at Sotheby in New York.

This Antique piece is a French Bronze hunting dog w/ pheasant. Signed by the artist Ferdinand Pautrot (exhibited between 1861-1870) It appears to have a coppery patina to it.

It measures: 5 " x 3.5" x 2" and weighs 1.55 #

It is in perfect condition, on the underside,it is attached by a fixed bronze bolt to a screw into a small lightweight piece of wood.
