Antique French Bronzed Metal Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte Statue Figurine c.1900

Description: Presented is a bust stuatue of the most famouus French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte (1769 - 1821). The Emperor is wearing his famous bicorn hat with cockade and his overcoat usually called "greatcoat".

There are many known bust statues of Napoleon, it is hard to tell after which one this statue was created.

The statue is made of metal alloy called spelter - a special kind of metal alloy very popular in late 1800s - early 1900 for its casting abilities - especially in France. It is patinated to imitate bronze with some gold highlights and mounted on alabaster pedestal.

The bronze patina and gold are partially worn, but there is no breaks, losses or repairs.

It is 8" tall.
