This is a French antique brass Medaille D\'Argent chiming mantel clock mechanism, with a fitting diameter of 4.25\" / 106mm. When wound and fitted with a pendulum the mechanism works for a few minutes. The chime works; the striker bar was temporarily attached with some glue to the rotator for testing (see photos) but will be supplied detached for a proper repair.

It would benefit from a strip-down, clean, and possible replacement or mending of worn parts. The face is in reasonably good condition and the glass has only a few minor marks.

The mounting screws are included, along with two screw-in eyes. No pendulum is included. The mechanism is sold as seen as \'spares or repair\' and would suit a project or as a donor for another mechanism.
