Here is a beautiful antique French faience plate from the 1800\'s.
It is marked with an impressed Battle Axe on the back, I tried to photo that for you.It features a scalloped rim with hand painted flowers. The center is a panoramic view of the entrance to the city of Verdun, France.
It measures 9 inches wide.
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has overall glaze crazing which is normal with antique faience.
