A most beautiful antique French cotton in a lovely large scale arabesque floral medallion design. The hue is that perfect French green~ in the blue/gray green range close to a celadon, silver sage or some would consider a robins egg. Accented with a lovely old tawny red tone.Again, large in scale and mid density but softer body from former use and washings over the years.The hues are overall softened by time.Circa latter 1800's.
Condition is very nice for its age and former use. Again, a most time softened overall textile.
***Measures~ 33" wide and I am offering it by the 20" lengthI can keep your selected quantity uncut up to "4" selected, so up to 33" wide by 80" long will be sent uncut.each 20" cut will have a nice large central medallion, so a nice pillow front composition for example (photo 2).
Perfect for a beautiful pillow front, strong enough to cover a period piece, window elements, patchwork, clothing elements etc..
