Job Lot 6 Antique French Linen Towels Torchons Red Stripe Mono PG
In excellent antique condition no holes or marks. Made from natural unbleached slubby homespun linen. Small red monogram of DB to one of them. Beautiful "grain" to the weave with specks of flax throughout, two lines of weft weave either end to them both, hand stitched hems with the selvedges left.
Perfect to use as towels as intended but as they are both larger than normal these would make great window blinds, table runners, bread basket liners etc.
Freshly laundered, line dried, ironed and ready to use.
