Phenomenal old French ticking cotton damask fabric in a most lovely variation of poppy florals. Beautiful shade of oldblushy pink, leaning into a dustysoft coralpink so more of a peach/pink. Canlook likea slightly deeper more intense coral in certain lighting. Most marvelous old tone, very old fashioned and romantic old color. I like to call this color anantique "doll cheek" pink. Best seen in the photo #2, photo 6 is a bit washed out in terms of color. Looks lovely used on either side. This is soft bodied, mid density in a largish scale. Circa early 1900's, about the 1920's time frame. Smitten with this sweet cloth, just a precious as they come.
Excellent for home pieces; pillows, windows as well as decorative period light upholstery/slip covers and an abundance of creative period projects; millinery, creative bags and clothing etc..Would be marvelous embellished with antique laces and old French trims as well.
~* Condition is very nice. I imagine lightly used and appearsfreshly washed. Wonderful condition to work with.
~*** Measures 28" wide by 20" long~ I can keep your selected quantity uncut, so for example, a quantity of "2" selected would be 28" wide by 40" long etc..
