Incredibly rare, nearly lifesize, Victorian-era French beaded poinsettia blossom.
Meticulously made of Czech beads threaded onto wire to form the petals, leaves and stamens then wrapped with red and green florist tape. Structured in such a way that it could easily be carried in a Christmas wedding bouquet and then used as a Christmas tree topper for ever after; It would be stunning underlit on your tree with white fairy lights so that the beads sparkled!
I cannot find its equal on , Etsy, FBM, 1stDibs or Ruby Lane (other flowers certainly, but not of this quality in craftsmanship nor with such lifelikeness).
18 petals, 3 leaves, 7 stamen.
Blossom measures almost 8\" across (both directions) and about 1.5 \" high exclusive of bouquet handle.I believe this to be Victorian but it certainly isn\'t older than the 1930s, just a little dusty.
