Antique Handmade Pieced Quilt 69x79 Hand Quilted. Plaid Purple Flowers Sweet:

Antique quilt that I believe was made in the 1920s or 1930s. All cotton. There is a fabric of charming purple plaid flowers going through the middle in both directions and then ombre sunset colored fabrics in the four corners along with soft pink and blues. The back is a Lilac color. There are some old stains on the back that I have not tried to wash out. There is also 2 small square old patch jobs on back. I only saw one tiny spot on the front with my reading glasses on. It is quite hard to find. A clean quilt with no rips or tears on the front.

This unique quilt is hand quilted. It was a utilitarian quilt that was used, loved and well cared for. Americana.

Measures 69”x79”.

Pictures are taken on my king size bed. This is a lovely quilt. It was a cloudy day. Quilt is very pretty and lighter than photos show.
