Mantle clock, French, Japy Freres, Made in Paris

A beautiful piece being listed as parts or repair due to it has taken some extensive damage. Possibly dropped at some point. I found the clock in the condition I bring it to you now because as far as aesthetic goes this clock is the real deal and miraculously many of the important pieces are still in great condition. Allow me to go into more detail PLEASE READ THE "MAIN ISSUES" portion near the end to have a better understanding of the item.

The clock face is stunning! Time may have effected some of the detail but there is still plenty to be had. From the intricacies of the still intact golden arms to the pinks, greens, blues, yellows, and reds that make up the ribbon and flower designs that lie just underneath the immaculate numbering and even the frame of the glass the craftsmanship is truly top notch

The top of the clock (the roof, if you will) features a bust of a persons face adorned with jewelry and an almost Fleur-de-lis style pattern at her side made out of what appears to be the material the rest of the clock is made out of. It even seems like the bust and the part of the clock it sits on are one solid piece speaking to the mastery of the craftsmanship. This luckily has remained 99% intact with only a few barley noticeable chips just along the edges and one of the corners is also chipped slightly

The columns are also in great condition and a unique addition that fits the style of the clock perfectly

And the actual base of the clock also remains intact with some slight chips and the corners being slightly rounded but overall in great shape

THE MAIN ISSUES PLEASE READ

The main issue comes when we see the back of the clock. Whatever panel was there seems to have completely shattered and I have been unsuccessful in retrieving all the pieces this means that due to my lack of expertise I don't know the condition of the insides past what you can see in the photos. The side walls also seem to have taken some substantial damage with slight cracks through them.

This leaves us with an unfortunate clock with some awesome authentic vintages pieces just waiting to be restored and loved by more experienced hands than mine. All spare parts and pieces I found of the clock I have included in the pictures!
