Produced in the late 1800s by legendary Rodach porcelain manufacturer Max Roesler,Max Roesler was born in 1840 in Regensburg.In 1910, after death of Roesler\'s son, the firm was transformed into a public limited company Max Roesler Feinsteingutfabrik AG. After WWI Roesler sold his shares to Dresdner Bankhaus Gebrüder Arnhold. Max Roesler died in 1922. In 1938 the company was taken over by Siemens. Max Roesler\'s firm used a family coat of arms (a hedge rose) as its emblem.
